Devils garden
The Croatian region of Gorski Kotar has been known since the distant past as Hortus diabolicus (Devil's garden) as much as for harsh weather conditions as for the variety of it's flora and fauna.
The mountains which are covered in snow for most of the months are home for centuries to many types of quality wood which are not only a material for woodwork but also a part of life for the settlers. Wood is life in Gorski Kotar.
The region of Gorski Kotar is a natural barrier between the continental and coastal Croatia. It's a region of mountains, rivers and lakes and a region which lives with nature and nature's green laws.

The furniture is made of pieces of old, which hold stories of old from the cold highland winters. The materials are natural resources, with a protective layer made of bee wax, for holding the breath of nature and follow the «green thread» and need of life in harmony with nature.
